What's good for one is NOT good for the other

Okay, I'm against the gay agenda, period. I'm sick and tired of the radicals in the group demanding special rights. They're just pissed that a nominee that is highly thought of and can be valuable to all of us (not just them), tells the truth about medical problems stemming from certain sexual acts. For all the money that's been spent on AIDS research, there hasn't been alot of changing of sexual habits amongst the highest population contracting AIDS. Enough whining, time for the radicals to get over themselves, as they aren't the only portion of the populace that needs attention! Having said that, I feel badly for the gays that don't go along with the whole group and are, quite frankly, embarrassed by them. I know the radicals don't speak for all of them, just as NOW doesn't speak for all women (especially straight women), the radical left doesn't speak for all liberals, and the NAACP doesn't speak for all blacks.

Since it always comes back around to the conservatives, I disagree with the populace that views Mitt Romney's religion as a deterrent to possibly being the President of the U.S. I have no problem with his religion, and don't go along with the religious right about their views on him. Frankly, I think he is more qualified to be President than Rudy, though I do like Rudy a lot. I also think he's the most qualified of any candidate running, including the left.

As for the polls on the war, 1) I don't believe in polls, as the results are predictable according to where the poll was taken and what entity is reporting it and 2) most people do believe the war is going badly. The war isn't going well, and we all know it. Having said that, there are good things going on in Iraq that don't get reported by the mainstream media over here. We didn't bail out of WWII when things were going badly, and we still shouldn't allow the terrorists to win this one by leaving Iraq. Look at what happened when we left Vietnam.

This isn't a liberal or conservative issue. I just wish the far left would pull together with the rest of the country in supporting us when things are down. Unfortunately, they want us to lose the war because of their hate for George Bush. Anything to make him look bad, even at the expense of our military and the rest of our country. I'm assuming the statement, "talk amongst yourselves" indicates the desire to eliminate discussion about the war.

BTW, I don't suppose I'll get a reply that was requested for the blog on June 20, diagramming possible solutions for the illegal immigration situation. Why am I expected to document items (which I do), yet when I ask for even an opinion on a defined topic, I can't get it.
