What Goes Around Comes Around
In reading the last blog on the 'Gay Agenda' and how unfair it is that the 'Radical Homosexual Activists' are using religion as a complaint against a Bush nomination, I just have to scratch my head. To quote the Red Lady, 'According to Article VI of the United States Constitution, "...no religious test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or Public trust under the United States." The only requirement for public officials is that they pledge to uphold the Constitution.' . OH, I'm so excited! I found this article published on both the Huffington Report and TownHall. Seems the conservatives are having issues with Mitt Romney and his religious affiliation. Hhuummm. But I guess the arguement could be that the religious affiliation of the President of the United States is so much more important than the affiliation of the Surgeon General.
My point is that either side is as hypocritical and obtuse as the other. Don't just blame causes that you don't like for being shady and unethical, look to your own 'heros', whatever side you're on.
Another article that I ran across was this one Poll: Whopping 77 Percent Say The War Is Going Badly . I guess this will be blown off as being 'liberal and Un-American'. Talk amongst yourselves.
