Psychobabble at its best!

Now that I've taken a direct hit and a certain blue lady seems to categorize me because I'm not open to the propaganda she believes, let's straighten out some statements made in the last post. Out of the recent posts that have been read, pray tell, where was Bill O'Reilly mentioned? Yes, the journalists on Town Hall (and O'Reilly isn't one of them) share their opinions, but sometimes there are facts stated, as well. If you can give me one in-depth article that actually says something from MoveOn, I'd love to read it.

God forbid, I'm from the state of NC. That must be a bad thing now, except for the ambulance-chasing, sleazy, John Edwards. Perhaps that's the best thing that's come from the state. Oh, and let's get one thing straight, most of my friends are from the North. Just because I don't take their side in the Union's demolision and carpetbagging of the South during and after the Civil War doesn't mean that I don't like them today. I could say the same about Northerners and their sterotypes toward us, but I won't. It would involve one of those charming "hasher's" remarks toward me several months ago. Actually, I've been on the brunt end of remarks made by some of them as to where I live, which isn't Midtown, downtown, or Decatur. Oh, but that's alright because the so-called intellectual elite are the only ones that have the right to judge.

What does enjoying sports have to do with anything? Am I a bad person for that, then again, the artistic types typically don't. Yes, I've been sneered at for being a "girly-girl" (even behind my back), but I don't care. I'm what I was born to be, a female, pure and simple. I don't apologize for it. Note, there is NO mention of my fondness for the arts, none, nadda. But then again, that would relate to those that do and quite contradictory to the mindset of liberals, we conservatives aren't allowed to look at issues on an individual basis. If you don't totally agree with every aspect of the leftist mindset, you are a bigot, nothing more, nothing less. Talking about being categorized. I'm white, educated, and am concerned about the groups in this country that are eating away at the core of morals and values this country was founded on. Change is good to a point, but when all common sense is lost, so is your country. Take a look at what's happening to Europe, as we speak. Yes, I do have a problem with affirmative action with any group, be it black, females, muslim, etc. Affirmative action has turned into reverse discrimination against whites, especially white males.

Seems no matter how I attempt to explain my beliefs, they get skewed by opposing opinions, so what's the point?

I do have to address one line though. First conservatives aren't all about property. There are many more things important to them, such as faith and values. But remember, we are a capitalist country. What's wrong with wanting to obtain things we enjoy and make our life better. Why can libs such as John Edwards, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Gore, Pelosi, etc. (the list goes on) have wealth, but it's supposed to be a conservative problem? Help me out on this contradiction.

The part I just love is this, "liberals are about setting rules so everyone gets a fair chance". Classic socialist-speak! Who are they to set the rules for everyone? The only rules they know are to steal from those that took their "fair chance" and made something of it. We already have rules for "fair chances". Individual freedoms come with a price, and God knows how many times have I said this, personal responsibility. This country is about "opportunity", not hand-outs. Although when you look at the Democratic agenda since the Roosevelts, you'd be hard-pressed to believe what our founding fathers meant when speaking of individual freedoms.

We could turn into the socialist state that Europe is experiencing, but you talk about losing freedoms. Once the radical Muslims get hold of us, it won't be a problem, as we won't have heads left.
