I forgot to address the term used in Blue Lady's last post, "executive privilege". Yes, there is such a thing, whether libs like it or not. They certainly didn't have a problem with Clinton exercising it numerous times, so what's the big deal about Bush using it? This newly elected Congress is in trouble and they know it. Oh, their ratings did go up from 14% to 16% yesterday. They're making progress, those "progressives"! That is the very reason they are trying to conjure up anything they can to see if there is any illegal activity being practiced in the Bush administration. Talk about wasting time on issues where, yes, the President of the U.S. has certain authorities the Congress doesn't possess. The lack of total power is absolutely killing them! I want them to keep on being as ineffective as possible. Not much longer to go!
