Response to Blue Lady
Correct, a lot of conservatives are uphappy about Bush's actions (or lack of) in some instances. I do believe Libby will be pardoned, just not at the moment. As for Gonzales, I still don't know what he did that other administrations haven't done twofold. Maybe Bush is determined to keep him because he's a Hispanic. He has chosen a more diverse group of people for his cabinet than Clinton ever did.
The frustration of conservatives is more along the lines of the immigration bill. What bothers me is Harry Reid saying that Bush let everyone down and didn't push it hard enough with the conservatives, which is completely false. Both Dems and Reps were supporting it, but when constituents on both sides of the fence contacted local politicians and raised hell about it, they were stopped in their tracks. While Congress thought they had a slam-dunk, Reid was harping about it being, "their bill". Now that it's failed, it's Bush's bill (as usual). He absolutely amazes me. I dislike him more than Pelosi or Murtha.
A word to the wise though, just because people in Bush's party aren't happy with him doesn't mean they'll take the knee-jerk reaction and jump ship. There is still the less of the evils, and I so hope Hillary gets the nomination. Lots of Dems out there that don't like her. The single women under 50 will vote for her just because she's a woman, and there aren't enough of them to go around. Lots of Dems like Rudy, so he may be the best the conservatives have to offer in terms of winning the election. I like him, but personally think Romney is the better candidate, overall. He brings something to the table none of the Democrats do, and that is experience both in government and the business world. He's also an eleoquent speaker that actually says something when asked a question.
