Global Warming

The environment is a huge issue with multiple facets that need to be addressed. Global warming has been picked out to use as a political weapon to create fear in order to gain votes for the Democratic party. Before we jump on the bandwagon of spending a fortune in tax dollars in order to placate the liberal left, we should be leary of what is coming out of the mouth of Al Gore, remember, the inventor of the Internet. If global warming is such a problem, why hasn't Gore, Edwards, and the Kerrys done anything about their lifestyles? Because it's the old, "do as I say, not as I do" scenario, once again. Why, all of a sudden, has this become an escalated issue, it's campaign time! Campaign issues are important to sway voters right now. It's interesting that the hybrid automobiles are having difficulty passing emissions tests. Can't have good gas mileage and great emissions at the same time, as I've stated before. People have to make a decision.

Interesting, once again, how whatever topic is being discussed, it all ends up back at George Bush. I guess he's at fault for whatever is wrong with the environment too. For the sake of falling for the bait and switch again, as I tend to do at times, WMD is a fact whereas global warming may or may not be a myth, but is questionable at the level in which it's being touted. No, they didn't find what the global intelligence projected, but there were a lot of weapons moved to Syria, as reported by intelligence agencies. Because our illustrious media let it be known approximately when we would attack Iraq, Sadam made damn sure we wouldn't find weapons there. This is a prime example of why the populace does NOT need to know everything going on with the military. Our avenues of communication are dangerous to operatives. All the Democrats that are decrying the war voted to go to Iraq, and when you see clips of their earlier statements, they were totally behind Bush. Funny how that gets forgotten during a campaign season! The only one that didn't vote for going there was Obama. One more time, Bush didn't go unadvised and unsupported by most members of Congress. I also want specifics on what parts of the Constitution Bush has trampled on to deny us our democracy. Where has he broken the law?

The Patriot Act is designed to protect us. What civil liberties have been lost? Please advise me, as I really don't know what I cannot do that I haven't always done. I want specifics on this one, not just a blanket statement.
