What a beautiful day!

Red here. Nothing can make this a bad day for me. Had the best weekend I've had in a long, long time. Went to one of my best friend's 50th birthday party Friday night. There were over 100 people in attendance, 90% of which I know. Had not seen most of them in a long time, so it was like a reunion. Some friends came into town for it, along with about 25 members of his family from Wisconsin. I partied with the family all day Saturday and spent the night at my friend's. Who says older people can't party? His uncles and father know how to have a good time! BTW, his father, "The Judge", has some good cigars!! Three ACC basketball teams won, along with us beating Duke, to put us in the #1 seed position for the ACC Tournament, which starts Thursday. Nothing gets finer, well except perhaps winning the Tournament itself!

Yep, I agree with Blue, politics is a nasty business, probably the nastiest of all. I remember Tipper Gore instigating a content labeling process for music. I don't know whether she wanted an all-out censorship or not (which could not happen anyway), but I don't mind the content labeling. If I had children, I'd damn well want to know what they were listening to, and don't think I wouldn't monitor what they were viewing at the movies and on the Internet. Kids have way too much access to media.

The one thing that sets Billy Bob Clinton apart from other politicians in terms of screwing around is that he did it in the Oval Office of the White House, which belongs to us, the tax-paying citizens. It didn't belong to him, he only temporarily resided there. He had no respect whatsoever for it, and turned it into his playground. If the media of today existed when JFK was in the same position, he would have been exposed as the whore he was while in office. I don't know who the biggest whores are though, the women that stay with them because of the power and publicity, or the guys themselves.
