Thoughts on various issues
Here's a good one. Somewhere in Australia, they are banning, Ho Ho Ho for santas. Now they are saying, Ha Ha Ha. Seems women are offended at the traditional term from Father Christmas. They believe the slang term, ho, is deragatory. Women really do need to start getting a life, and governments need to stop cowering to every "offended" group. The American company that has provided them (reciprical outsourcing for a change) says they never mandated what the santas say, and it is up to them to use their discretion as to what term they will use.
Am I on women today, yes, I am:
Nancy Grace, that vile witch, was taken to the hospital due to a blood clot on her lung. My mother had that incident several years ago. Hers was due to lack of activity. Nancy's was from complications due to a C-Section given for the birth of her babies. There are other complications with older women having babies. I know the reasons women give for waiting to have children, but playing with mother nature is not the smartest decision. Again, women need to make decisions for those "hard fought for" choices. I don't know if she was artificially insiminated, but that's another whole issue for another time.
Women that have problems becoming pregnant should really study the effects of some new birth control pills. I'm not knowledgeable about the new pills that only allow four periods a year, but there is a reason for a monthly cycle. It's designed to prepare your body for becoming pregnant. Again, playing with mother nature in order to adapt to your convenience isn't a good idea. There is a higher being, and there is an order to the design of things.
Thanksgiving is under attack again (as I said, some need to get a life). In Seattle, they are asking teachers to acknowledge that this is a "time of mourning" instead of a thankful time. Kids are now being brainwashed into believing that we are a horrible country instead of celebrating the true meaning of giving thanks. Did we not have a celebration with the Indians? Are Indians complaining? Sounds like some have had too many hits on the "peace pipe"!
Now for some fun stuff! In the top 25 recruiting classes for 2008 in college basketball, the ACC has seven! Two are tied for a spot, but that's looking good for the future of the conference. We've been down for the last few years, but it appears we're making a return.
