This is going to upset somebody!
A few mid-week snippets that I'm sure will piss off someone that actually takes the time to read this. Seeing as I've been accused of bashing women (of course, if I reversed the situation and bashed male white men, it would be acceptable among the feminist guard).
Who is this Rhodes woman from Air America that fell down and got scuffed up? Seems her co-host, Elliott, has decided she was mugged, and better yet, the right-wingers are responsible. Seems she didn't file a police report and admitted she wasn't "mugged". People have just got to start being more creative in their lying abilities!
Is Cynthia McKinney (as I affectionately speak of as "monkey-mouth" McKinney) really going to run on the green ticket? Can we possibly get her out of Georgia and into California with the other yahoos?
Interestingly, Hillary has threatened U.S. action against Tehran if they disrupt oil supplies. "War for oil" anyone?
Speaking of the utlimate Socialist, she now wants to set more mandates for corporations (at their expense, of course). Let's see, unpaid family leave of up to 12 weeks (wow, a third of the year, you don't have to work - that is, if you have a family), required seven sick days, demands consideration of flexible work schedules, and subsidized child-care for stay-at-home moms (your tax increases, folks).
Yes, I have a problem with women that can't make decisions. They've worked hard through the decades to have choices, but they just can't make competent decisions - leaving members of their gender that intend to usurp power to give them whatever they demand, while we pay for it. I decided not to have children, but I'll be paying for others' mistakes for a long time. Can't being single without children (in other words, not being a further burden on society) give me something, such as some extra time off without having to worry about losing my job?
Corporate America does NOT need to have government mandates. This is nothing more than a political ploy to gain mommy votes. If these mom's couldn't afford to have kids, then they shouldn't have, quite simply. Government has no place in the corporate world. See how well they run the government. If companies are not "mommy" friendly, then the companies that are will have the ability to compete for those self-absorbed dim wits. I know what it's like to work extra time when a mother has to leave for everything her kids are involved in. I'm sick of single people getting penalized and expected to pick up the slack for the "slackers". Make choices, be a mother or a career person. Statistics have proven that multi-tasking is NOT working, and we are seeing generations of children that have proven it.
