Happy Friday!

Good news - Genarlow Wilson is being released from prison. I believe in abiding by the law, but this was a tenuous situation, at best, with the law being changed during the time he was found guilty. There was no sense in this sentence, considering liberal judges in the NE are perpetually releasing repeat child-abusers. This guy is even a good student that had scholarships offered for college. They'd probably let a little rapper thug get off in the beginning.

More good news - as I was at a Starbuck's close to home (that's about all we have out here in suburbia), and noticed that if you bought two pounds of coffee, Starbuck's would send one to the soliders in Iraq. There was a basket to put them in, and messages were written to them on the bags from the people that bought them. That puts to rest the rumor started awhile ago about Starbucks not supporting the troups. Quite a contrast from Caribou, on the other hand.

Actually, the tree-huggers are responsible for demanding homeowners leave a certain amount of brush close to their houses, making wildfires much more damaging. You know it had to happen, blaming Bush for fires that were set by arsonists.
If you're a Boortz Blast newsletter subscriber, you've already seen this. What, you don't get the Blast? Sign up here.Friends of the Earth, an environmental activist group, says that the fires are President Bush's fault because he hasn't allowed California to fight global warming emissions. What idiots.

Here's an update on the Khalil Gibran International Academy in Brooklyn ... the public school, funded by taxpayers, that some consider a madrassa.

This is what happens when you elect left-over hippies from the '60s.
People are actually calling Hillary out for her pork spending. In particular, the $1 million bill for the Woodstock Festival museum.

Another example of the "speech police" on university campuses. David Horowitz was a self-proclaimed liberal Democrat while in school at Duke University. He has since changed his ways and is now a conservative. He wrote the book, "The Professors", about 101 of the worst professors on college campuses. He's also written others, but this is one I've read. I guess only people, such as the President of Iran, serve as being only qualified enough to speak on campuses that espouse what the far left wants to hear.
David Horowitz was to speak at Emory University for Islamofascism Awareness Week, only until he was booed to the point where the speech was canceled.

Muslims Against Sharia congratulate David Horowitz FREEDOM CENTER and Mike Adams, Tammy Bruce, Phyllis Chesler, Ann Coulter, Nonie Darwish, Greg Davis, Stephen Gale, David Horowitz, Joe Kaufman, Michael Ledeen, Michael Medved, Alan Nathan, Cyrus Nowrasteh, Daphne Patai, Daniel Pipes, Dennis Prager, Luana Saghieh, Rick Santorum, Jonathan Schanzer, Christina Sommers, Robert Spencer, Brian Sussman, Ed Turzanski, Ibn Warraq and other speakers on the success of the Islamofascism Awareness Week.

Islamofascism (or Islamism) is the main threat facing modern civilization and ignorance about this threat is astounding. We hope that this even becomes regular and reaches every campus.

A great many Westerners do not see the clear distinction between Islam and Islamism (Islamofascism). They need to understand that the difference between Islam and Islamism (Islamofascism) is the same as the difference between Christianity and Christian Identity Movement (White Supremacy Movement).

I didn't realize that Christians were considered white supremacists. I thought white supremacists were more of the Nazi mentality. Are Christians now being compared to Nazis?

How does drawing a distinction between Christianity and Christian Identity Movement makes them comparable? You might want to look up the word "difference" in a dictionary.

Red Lady said...

What is the analogy with comparing Christians to Nazis? That's the question.

That's the whole point. We are NOT comparing Christians with Nazis; we are differentiating them. Try to follow this logic:

Good: Christianity, Islam
Bad: Christian Identity Movement, Islamofascism

I've not heard of the Christian Identity Movement. Evidently it is synonymous with "white supremacy".

There are two things that would stop "Islamofacism". First, Muslims here in the States need to unite in a public forum and vocally stand up against the terrorist faction. Otherwise, we will continue to believe they all think alike.

Secondly, Muslims have got to halt their attempts at converting us to their culture by having us meet their demands in the name of their religion. This is one country where anyone can worship as they please, but they cannot expect to infiltrate another country and have them change their culture. It's worked in Western Europe, and you see what's happening. It's not going to work here because there are enough of us to see that we stay true to our culture.

If our way of life does not fit the role Muslims want to play, then perhaps they should relocate to countries that do.

Muslims have a history of not assimilating into various cultures the move into. You can't maintain a society that is divisive. We have enough of our own problems where we don't need rhetoric from a group that doesn't seem to be able to separate their religious beliefs from government, which is the foundation of the U.S.

I'm not being offensive, but just stating the obvious. Muslims will have to take it upon themselves to prove they're willing to live within the laws here while practicing their lifestyles. I don't know if they're willing to perform such a feat. It would be enlightening if they can. They're in different territory over here.

“Muslims here in the States need to unite in a public forum and vocally stand up against the terrorist faction.”

Before that could happen, the government and the PC crowd must stop supporting Muslim establishments that comprised of terrorist fronts and embrace moderate Muslim, because at this time moderate Muslims have no voice.

“Muslims have got to halt their attempts at converting us to their culture by having us meet their demands in the name of their religion.”

Again, this does not come from the moderate Muslims; it comes from Muslim establishment. These attempts must be confronted on every level by Muslims and non-Muslim alike. But again, the government and the media choose to embrace those Islamization attempts rather than confronting them.

“Muslims have a history of not assimilating into various cultures the move into.”

Wrong. ISLAMISTS have a history of not assimilating into various cultures the move into. Muslims assimilate just like anybody else.

“I'm not being offensive, but just stating the obvious.”

Yes, but the problem is that you do not differentiate between Muslims and Islamists.

If there are moderate Muslims, then they do need to unite so we'll be aware of them. Right now, it's difficult to know they're even around. In the UK, they've been asked to help the government by working with them to apprise them of what is going on in the mosques where radicals unite and plot. Their response has been that they are true to their religion before their government. That could be a problem here.

I do, indeed, agree with you on the PC issue. That group is totally responsible for allowing their demands be met, along with endorsing them. If we're not careful, the MoveOn crowd will destroy this country without the assistance of outside influences.

"they do need to unite so we'll be aware of them."

When you afraid for your life, have no outside support, and your government is embracing the radicals, it is easier said than done.

"Their response has been that they are true to their religion before their government."

That is your first clue that they are not moderates.

Red Lady said...

Then where are the moderates? If they don't take a stand with us, they'll be annihilated as we will. We can't protect us without their help. If we're willing to die for our rights, and they want to be a part of our country, shouldn't they take that risk? I know it's easier said than done, but it they're true moderates, then we're all in this together, and it will take all of us to defeat them.

Mostly hiding under our beds.

In theory, you are correct. In real life there are several important obstacles. As soon as a real Muslim reformist proclaims his/her views, he/she usually gets a personal fatwa (Islamic religious decree) that that person is a target for every Islamist. As soon as we came out in public, we were declared fake Muslims (read comments on our blog). While Islamists have support from the Middle East (financial) and from the Western governments (political), moderates are largely ignored by the government & media and labeled as racists by the Dhimmis. When prestigious educational institutions welcome monkeys like Ahmadinejad, people like Horowitz or Gilchrist are booed there. And on top of everything, the good people of America are financing radical Islamic regimes by purchasing billions of dollars worth of Middle Easter oil.

I know it's easier said than done, but it they're true moderates, then we're all in this together, and it will take all of us to defeat them.

Some of us are so sick and tired of being afraid, we are speaking out. But 99% of moderate Muslims are silent and will continue to be silent unless the government reverses its policy of embracing the radicals.

Good points. I'm sick and tired of the radical left embracing all outside elements bent on destroying this country, and that includes all the illegals entering. I could write a book regarding my thoughts on this, but I won't bore you. I would devote more than one chapter on our institutions of "higher learning".

I'm not a "professional blogger", but all of a suddden I can't post my blogs. If you'd like to read them, you'll have to go to the top of the page and hit "search blogs" and they will come up. I don't know what is happening but thought I would let you know where to find what I posted today, 10/31/07.

Hopefully it is just a glitch.

I hope so too. I've e-mailed them for help, but I don't know if I'll hear from them. You can still get the lates by going to the box and clicking "search blog".
