Gwinnett County

I must say that with the explosive growth of this county, right there alongside of Cobb County, there has been a wave of new crime, but a couple of things Gwinnett has done recently are really good.

1) Stepping up getting rid of illegal immigrants and enforcing a housing code of the number of people that can inhabit a residence. Cobb has also started this crackdown.

2) The new Gwinnett Animal Shelter just opened, and is state-of-the-art, as far as animal facilities go. Also, the Sheriff of Gwinnett recently offered $10,000 to anyone that exposes dog-fighting. Two have already been brought to the attention of the authorities, so money does talk.

Just saw where Mike Vick will now be monitored and cannot leave his home from 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM due to testing positive for marijuana. Well, I guess he just got bored since he can't have dogs fighting anymore. God forbid he do something productive instead of breaking the law. I guess this does explain the substance in the water bottle at the Miami airport. I'm sick of hearing people say he should get a second chance. This guy has had multiple chances. The new charges filed in the state of VA are for state violations, not Federal. Those dogs he brutally killed didn't get a second chance. Hell, they didn't even have a chance while in his custody!
