Scooter Libby Learned His Lesson
Scooter Libby, assistant to Vice President Dick Cheney was convicted yesterday for lying and covering up the investigation to find out who leaked the identity of an undercover CIA operative. From my understanding, most of the evidence and not a few witnesses testified that it wasn't Scooter that did the leaking, but someone had to take the fall. I'll bet he gets pardoned when Bush leaves office.
According to CNN, the probe will continue, so Karl Rove shouldn't relax just yet. This whole thing came about because Joseph Wilson wrote an article highly critical of the Bush Administration. So someone decided to get 'even' and exposed Wilson's wife as a CIA operative. Now that's a mature step to take. The testimony doesn't point to Scooter as the one who did the leaking, just one in a chain that started somewhere near the top.
This administration seems to take laws as suggestions instead of laws and does what it wants. Someone had to take the fall, because Karl Rove, a top political advisor to President Bush certainly can't be found guilty. What Real Men, letting a subordinate take the fall instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. Ahh politics.

I hope Scooter does get pardoned. That would be only one compared to the plethora that got pardoned by Clinton. Can we say "Mark Rich"? He still can't come into the country. How about the criminal gang from Puerto Rico that supported Hillary's election in NY? I have an extensive list if you'd like to view it.
