John Edwards and the Labor Unions
Edwards is, obviously, courting the labor unions. This is interesting, considering the labor unions are targeting companies with illegal aliens. With the constant decline in membership of the unions, they are desparate and are soliciting anyone they can. Doesn't Edwards understand that by gaining their support, he is also endorsing illegal aliens?
He's also lending tripe about cutting tax breaks for companies that outsource. Doesn't he realize that the companies providing those tax breaks are overseas? They are the companies that are luring American corporations with the tax breaks. It's not just a matter of cheaper labor, but tax incentives they've offered way over and above what our Federal government is offering to keep them here. If they gave corporate America a bit of break, they could more afford keeping operations in the States, thus paying more corporate tax back to the government. In the Feds attempts at strangling profits for U.S. companies, they're losing out on more than one aspect of making it attractive to keep their workforces here. Let's face it, Hillary Clinton is all for "taking profits", isn't she?
What does Edwards think he's going to do to stop the tax incentives offered from various other countries? I don't believe he's in a position to do much at all, as this is out of control.
