I totally agree with everything Blue lady stated regarding the tragedy at VA Tech. Once again, it's the talking heads that create more anxiety over an already horrific event. This is another reminder that evil does exist, and for the most part, we can't predict or prevent something like this from happening. If it were an everyday occurrence, then we would be more aware of our surroundings and disturbed people, such as this.

This is where we need to get down on our knees and thank God that we were fortunate enough to be spared this tragedy on a personal basis. When the gun control zealots start ranting, remember, this person would have been able to get guns one way or the other. If not, he would have found a way to eliminate people, be it with other weapons or even a bomb. There have been stories, of which you won't read about in the mainstream media, where people that did carry guns have kept shootings/killings from happening on occasion.

These students need to have an opportunity to absorb what's happened before being interegated by the media. For all the posturing, the healing hasn't even began.
