First Round Down!

The first half of the first round of the NCAAs are done, and I'm not doing too badly in the brackets. Also, my team will be continuing onward!

I read where the Chairman of MARTA, Mr. Ed Wall, is going to determine his own future with MARTA. Wouldn't it be nice if, when we screwed up at work, we had the opportunity to determine our future or punishment, as it may be. This MARTA board is as inept as ever. I did find a couple of things interesting. Wall was supposedly scheduled to meet with Ben DeCosta down at the airport, but no meeting occurred, nor was any scheduled on the calendar. I did wonder how a meeting with the GM and an encounter with a guy he met on Craig's list only a couple of days before could coincide so well. Seems Hartsfield is becoming quite a "bath house". I see where a UNC professor had been caught under the "indecent exposure" clause. What's disturbing is, he's an advisor for the CDC. Aren't they the organization that keeps stats for AIDS? Amazing!

A new topic that I rally behind and think it's about time someone finally stood up! Yes, this is PIC (politically incorrect), but I'm all for April becoming the Confederate History and Heritage month. Why, because this country has done its level-best to ignore Southern history, especially in light of the fact that the South is really no longer the South. There is a heritage that has been dwindling away, and it's enlightening that some want to keep it from completely disappearing. April would be quite an appropriate month to celebrate Southern heritage, as the beginning of Spring brings magnolias and moonlight while it's still, perhaps, snowing up North.
