Double Jeopardy

At least the Blue Lady and I agree about artificial insemination! It is hypocritical, at best, when the religious right (I won't use the Christian label, as not all Christians are zealots) doesn't want to allow "any" abortions, yet they are fine with artificial pregnancies. I believe that is "playing God" more than terminating a pregnancy.

The double jeopardy I speak of is just that. It's bad enough when divorces happen in heterosexual marriages, leaving children torn between parents. I think time will show it being more difficult for children of gay couples. There is a stigma in society they will have to bear just being raised in a homosexual atmosphere, then to be caught in the middle makes it even worse. These people may be qualified to raise children, but their selfish ideals will make life much tougher on these kids. I do believe children were meant to be raised by a male and female. Both sexes offset each other and provide a balance for children. There is a reason nature made it this way.

What I don't understand is why it's appears to be easier for homosexuals to adopt children, when there are totally qualified heterosexuals that have such a difficult time adopting, hence the going overseas business. I suppose all the kids that Rosie can buy is an example of how money talks. Can you imagine what her kids are going to be like?
