Beautiful Friday Morning!

No reason to be in a bad mood today, it's Friday and it's gorgeous out, especially after the monsoon rains of yesterday. Not much going on today, but some good articles in Town Hall today. If you go to the link, you can retrieve them. I especially enjoyed the following:
1) Can Government Legislate Intellectual Diversity - Jeff Emanuel
2) Fraudulent News - Oliver North
3) An Inconvenient Truth About Al Gore - Burt Prelutsky
4) Aqua Net Offsets For All - Lorie Byrd

Numbers 2 & 3 are rather obvious, nothing new here.

Number 1 is interesting because of a case I may have previously mentioned at UNC regarding a student expressing his views on homosexuality and being reprimanded by a professor during a class discussion. This had to be taken to the N.C. Legislature in order to be rectified. Liberal professors are starting to really cross the line, and others that don't follow their thought processes are getting tired of the reprimands. You may see more of this, especially from state-supported universities. The analogy I use for this double-standard is; affirmative action is now reverse discrimination.

Number 4 is quite interesting, and I learned what Gore's explanation means for his abundant use of energy. Evidently, as long as you pay someone to practice what you preach, you're off the hook, leaving you the luxury of doing whatever you want. As the article states, this philosoply goes right along with the book titled, "Do As I Say (Not As I Do), one about how left-leaning elite feel they know how others should behave, even if it conflicts with their actions.
