See, the Blue lady and I do agree on some things! I also read about the abortion issue and the demanded ultra-sound. It's nuts, and yes, the "female" (note no males involved) will be responsible for paying for it. I don't care whether you're rich or poor, something mandated by the government should be paid for by the government! Secondly, an ultra-sound won't make any difference if someone chooses not to view it. What's the point, other than trying to make women feel even more guilty than they already do by going through this procedure. I suppose the government thinks these decisions are easily arrived at. I just want to know who will be responsible for the cost of raising unwanted children. We pretty much see that in the inner-cities. Our tax dollars at their best. In the wealthy suburbs, kids running wild with expensive toys and drugs, with part-time mothers raising them, albeit for different reasons than in ghetto areas. I'm sick of men trying to tell women what they can and can't do with their bodies. A good read is the book written by Sara Weddington, the attorney that introduced and won the Roe v. Wade case. Since abortion will always be with us, her purpose was to make the procedure legal in order for it to be safe, as so many women were previously dying in horrible locations under the care of "quack" doctors. At the time of the ruling, there were also laws put into place regarding abortion, so new laws are NOT necessary. No matter how you feel about the issue, let's continue to protect women from something that would never be an issue if men could bear children.

I was one that bought the 2 for 1 jars of Peter Pan peanut butter at Publix Sunday. I have eaten a bit from one jar, but tossed both jars as soon as I saw the 2111 code on them. Fortunately, I have not been sick, so I figured I'd best not test my luck. There's plenty of other peanut butter to go around!
