History Lessons

Today is for history lessons. The first, how the Sarbanes-Oxley Act has "ironically" affected the NYT and their recent publication of the MoveOn.org annihilation of General Patraeus. I'm familiar with this act, as it has stifled more companies from going public and cost many in expanding their businesses.

I'll bet they don't teach this in African-American Studies programs!

Michael Medved: Six inconvenient truths about the U.S. and slavery
Those who want to discredit the United States and to deny our role as history?s most powerful and pre-eminent force for freedom, goodness and human dignity invariably focus on America?s bloody past as a slave-holding nation. If you can't view it by clicking, go to Townhall.com. It is featured today, the 27th of September. This should be part of factual history that is taught to all school children. Perhaps today's guilt-ridden will understand why they have nothing to be guilty of when it comes to slavery.
