I knew I'd get a response about the biking thing. I don't know why being in a wealthy neighborhood has anything to do with bikers getting in the way of traffic or not, but they were really all over the road over there on Riverside in Roswell. That is a heavily traveled, two-lane road. As I stated, when you're riding 3 and 4 deep, you have no choice but to turn around or drive in the middle of the road and run into someone coming in the opposite direction. On the Azalea Drive side, there are bike lanes on both sides of the road. I respect cyclists that respect automobiles. All it will take is one to either turn over in front of a car or cause an accident, then lawsuit city, baby. Wait and see. I don't think I'd want to put my body out there to compete with an automobile, especially with the way people drive in Atlanta. Sounds like more of "I don't like East Cobb" on this one. BTW, not all white people are Republican. There are a lot of Democrats in the crowd, as we well know. There is also a growing number of Libertarians, including me.

Here's a new one. The city of Santa Monica has taken advertising for Tyra Banks' modeling show off their buses after two weeks. Reason being, it disrespects women, according to a female legislator out there. They also nixed "Nip, Tuck" advertising, as well. Earlier this year, another female legislator in San Diego eliminated Hooters from helping raise money for the Humane Society at an outdoor event because of Hooters girls. There appears to be a pattern here. Someone help me out, as I could be way off base. Women are constantly preaching that everyone should be pleased with the way they are, and I agree. Be confident, love yourself, know that everyone accepts you for who you are, right? Not everyone looks like a Barbie doll. Actually, the majority don't. What I don't get is, why do women in power think they can dictate how other women feel about seeing good-looking women? Turning down money for a cause as wonderful as the Humane Society (which can never get enough money) because some broad doesn't want to see young women with boobs for a little while wreaks of insecurity. Why ban the nip-tuck ads? What's disrespectful about someone trying to improve themselves? I can only ascertain it's because women don't want to see others try doing something that makes them feel better. Remember, love yourself the way you are, and if the way someone else looks offends you, then get rid of it. I'm sorry, but it's another contradiction, and I get tired of women thinking they know how other women feel. If I have to look at an ad, I'd rather see a good-looking woman vs. an unattractive one. Humans are visual people, it's a part of their nature. I'd like to see what would happen if they put pictures of the Calvin Klein males in underwear on buses.
